Plan Your Visit 

 

We highly recommend biking, carpooling, rideshare, or using public transit. ​The B Line will drop you off directly at the North end of the art fair at Lake & Dean.

 

The W Bde Maka Ska Parkway will be closed to motorized traffic from W Lake St to W 32nd St for the event weekend.

Bike

​

The City of Lakes Art Fair is located along the Bde Maka Ska bike and pedestrian trails. Please note that biking around the lake is one-way, so be sure to follow the designated direction. If the weather cooperates, we encourage you to bike - it’s a great way to enjoy the lake while helping reduce traffic and parking congestion.

Parking

There are two pay-to-park options​ available nearby: the Event Parking Lot ($10 flat rate) and The Beach Club Parking Garage off of W Lake St (hourly rates apply, $5 for 2-3 hours). These lots tend to fill up quickly, so plan ahead. Please note, the Bde Maka Ska North Lot is reserved for artist parking only and will not be available to visitors. 

 

Free street parking can be found in the surrounding neighborhoods, just be sure to check signage for any restrictions.

Accessibility

​

All artists and food vendors are located on paved streets, with step-free access. The Kids Zone and Live Music Area is set on grass, with a ramp provided for entry. Free accessible parking is available at the event parking lot, right off of Excelsior Blvd.
