Enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks while meeting fellow artists from across the Twin Cities. This informal mixer is a chance to build relationships, share experiences, and find community before the program begins.

6:15–6:45pm — Presentation: Crafting a Standout Art Fair Application

Homespun staff will lead a practical, behind-the-scenes look at what makes an art fair application stand out. Topics include:

• Strengthening your jury images

• Writing a strong artist statement

• What jurors look for (and what they don’t)

• Tips for new artists and longtime exhibitors alike

6:45–7:15pm — Panel Q&A with Minnesota Art Fair Directors

Hear directly from the people who run some of the region’s top art festivals. Learn how different shows approach jurying, what sets successful applicants apart, and how to position yourself for stronger results in 2026.
