Artists and Activities at the Jamboree!
The Jamboree is filled with artists, community partners, and hands-on activity stations stretching from the bottom to the top of the hill. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll discover along the way:
Creativity Lane
Bottom of Hill
Upon entering the festival, visitors will be greeted by two rows filled with artists, hands-on activities, and nonprofit partners!

Listen & Play Space
Bottom of Hill
Just to the right of the festival entrance, you’ll find the Listen & Play Space - a large tent sponsored by tonies, designed as a welcoming spot to sit, rest, and recharge during your visit. Outside the tent, you’ll also discover a variety of hands-on activities to explore, making it a perfect stop to pause, play, and enjoy a moment of calm in the festival energy.

Explore Tonieboxes featuring a variety of characters and stories to listen to and enjoy through screen-free, hands-on audio play.

Growing Love Project will be hosting free, mini reiki sessions along with a color-your-own wooden fan project!

Sensory Break Area by St. David's, stop by for a calm, supportive area with headphones, fidgets, bean bags, bubbles, and more to help attendees reset and recharge.

DSMobile - Take a seat and enjoy a free Mixed Media Art Activity hosted by Olga Nichols!

Bottom of Hill
HOT ART Bus
Step aboard the HOT ART Bus by The Arts Creative, a mobile art studio bringing hands-on creativity to the Great Big Jamboree! In this playful drop-in activity, Play Like Picasso, attendees can cut, arrange, and collage colorful paper shapes to design their own instrument. Stop by anytime to create, experiment, and make your own masterpiece.
Little Charity Book Truck
Little Charity Book Truck is a nonprofit mobile bookshop bringing books and community impact to the festival. Browse a selection of children's books and help support My Very Own Bed, a Minnesota nonprofit providing beds and bedding to children in need.


Peace Grove
Top of Hill
Hosted by Yoga Sancutary Minneapolis, step into a peaceful, interactive experience at the top of the hill. Explore hands-on stations inspired by the five elements, earth, water, fire, air, and spirit/space, featuring movement, mindfulness, creative play, breathwork, and sensory activities woven into a beautiful grove of trees.
Wind Chime Forest & Discovery Trail
Top of Hill
Walk through a wooded path and you’ll arrive at the Wind Chime Forest at the top of the hill, where the soft sounds of wind chimes move with the breeze. Take a seat, relax, and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by nature and sound.
Just beyond the wind chimes, you’ll discover the Great Big Jamboree Discovery Trail, a hands-on journey through the senses and the natural world. Along the way, stop to test your nose with “Smell & Guess” jars, create textured nature rubbings, peek into the bug observatory, and experiment with making music using natural materials.


Hilltop Play Zone
Top of Hill
Head to the Hilltop Play Zone for a joyful, free-play space ! At the top of the hill, you’ll find a colorful collection of lawn games, wearable butterfly wings, dance ribbons, diabolos, juggling balls, hula hoops, and more hands-on activities to spark joy! Whether you’re twirling, tossing, balancing, or simply relaxing in the sunshine, this playful area invites families to jump in, try something new, and enjoy the festival at their own pace.
Brambletown Ridge
Middle of Hill
On your way to the top of the hill, you’ll discover characters from the Okee Dokee Brothers' Brambletown tucked into the woods along the ridge. This heartfelt musical film follows lifelong friends Fox and Badger as they return home to Brambletown and navigate friendship, change, and community. Along the way, they learn that even in the darkest moments, they still have the power to heal.
